
To train and educate students as a planner who deals with urban and spatial problems, adopting an interdisciplinary approach.
The strengths of our program are in
1) understanding the nature of urban and other spatial problems,
2) predicting and managing the impact of various non-spatial policies on space, and
3) exploring a better way to plan-making.
The urban and regional planner should be able to understand, develop and organize knowledge in the areas of
1) spatial analysis and synthesis tools,
2) plan development, and
3) the societal mechanism entailing spatial phenomena.
